BIKE TRAIL MAINTENANCE
Greensboro Fat Tire Society and Velo Club members work diligently throughout the year to maintain the mountain bike trails in Guilford County. They schedule regular work dates and devote many volunteer man-hours to keeping the trails environmentally sound and safe for riding. The GVC has funded the construction of trail bridges and trail head information kiosks. In addition, our Trails Advocate, Mark Gatehouse, is working with the local authorities to design, plot and create MTB Trails in Guilford County's newest Northeast Park.
Club members also hold weekly recreational, fitness and training rides which are open to the public. A current schedule of these rides, along with starting locations and meeting times can be found on the Club Calendar.
