LABOR DAY RIDE
Monday, Sept 2nd

* This group  ride on Labor Day is a pretty fun day of cycling and meeting lots of other cyclists.
Any kind of bike and all levels of skill and speed are welcome .
Come ride solo or in
whatever group you want
Feel free to bring a friend or your own group.

* The Labor Day Ride will start from Oden Brewing Company at 802 West Gate City Blvd.
No charge, no fees, just fun!
Riding the 63 mile route, arrive by 7:45 AM.
Riding any of the other routes, arrive by 8:30am.  we will start grouping up at 8:45 AM.

* No guarantee of bathrooms before the ride, but Oden has agreed to open early for us after we finish our rides, so please stick around and socialize after the ride.
Feel free to bring
food and non-alcoholic drinks for yourself and to share with new friends after the ride
There may be a food truck
 as well, but no guarantees.

* Please park in the dirt lot at 826 West Gate City Blvd.
If you do not arrive before 8:45am, I suggest you park on Tate Street or Oakland Street.  They are located just north of Oden Brewing Company on the UNCG side of the train tracks.  Due to the number of bikes being moved around by 8:40am, I doubt you will be able to drive a vehicle through the parking lot.

* At 8:45 AM we will meet at the picnic tables, for a couple announcements about how to start each route and to point out the people who will be riding at specific paces. Before coming to the picnic tables, please leave your bike on the paved parking lot by gently leaning your bike against a parked vehicle.  If you do not want bikes leaned against your vehicle, please do not park in the paved lot.

* Special thanks to all the cyclists who openly post their rides
on the Triad Ride List Google Group: John Erickson, Mary and Rick Hughes, Woodie Andersen, Phil Kusiak, Carl Fenske, Tom Noll and Anjie Blount.  Also, thanks to the individuals and groups welcoming riders to their group rides: Suzanne Pezick, Cathy Thompson, Team Perpetual Motion, Kernersville Cycling Club, Mayhem Cycling, Major Taylor Cycling, CyclePaths, and the Easy Rider Groups.

* Below are the routes and
the names of  cyclists that will be riding at specific paces.  You are welcome to ride with them so "NO ONE RIDES ALONE."  Search them out as soon as you arrive.   If an experienced rider is giving pre-ride instructions, please listen to what they say.  Pease look as far down the road as possible (not at the road directly in front of your bike), always converse facing forward (only look at the person next to you when you are stopped), and keep both hands on the bars as much as you possibly can.
